Description
As is usually the case with flammability tests, repeatable results aren't easy to get. The GW-1000 / GW-1000A was designed specifically to improve repeatability and ease of operation.
- Microprocessor-controlled timer, starting a 30-second count the moment the sample contacts the wire loop.
- Ni/Cr (80:20) wire loop, 4mm diameter, shaped to standard.
- Precise temperature adjustment with a Type K (class 1, IEC 60584-2) thermocouple.
- Quick-response thermometer with ambient temperature compensation.
- Adjustable penetration limiter with a scaled slider for reading penetration depth.
